There will always be someone better. There will be someone who people would rather talk to. There will be someone who people would rather be with. There will be someone who you cannot compare to in any way. There will be someone better. Someone who’s more good-looking. Someone funnier. Someone cooler. Someone smarter. Just someone better. And it makes me kind of sad. Not because I want to be the best or anything. It’s just that I don’t want to end up with nothing. With no one. With nobody. And I keep thinking that I will. And that makes me sad. And one day, I will have nobody at all.
Well, at least I keep telling myself so.
